That is not a promise about how carefully we handle your data. It is a statement about the site's construction. There is nothing here to collect with.

What this site does not do

switchpowerco.com is a set of static pages. It has no database, no server-side code and no accounts. Specifically:

  • No forms

    There is no form anywhere on this site. No name field, no email field, no address, no bill upload, no quote request. Nothing you can type into and submit.

  • No cookies

    The site sets no cookies of any kind, so there is no cookie banner to dismiss. It also uses no local storage, no session storage and no browser fingerprinting.

  • No analytics or tracking

    No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no advertising tags, no session recording, no heatmaps, no A/B testing tools. We do not know who visits this site or what they read.

  • No third-party requests

    Every file this site loads comes from this domain, including the typeface. Your browser contacts no other company while you read these pages. There are no embedded videos, maps, chat widgets or social buttons.

The two things that are true

We would rather be precise than sound cleaner than we are.

Our host keeps server logs
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web server, GitHub's infrastructure records standard request data such as IP addresses and browser user agents, for security and operational purposes. Those logs belong to GitHub and we have no access to them. GitHub's privacy statement governs that data.
If you email us, we have your email
The addresses on this site are ordinary mailto links that open your own mail program. Nothing is sent anywhere until you choose to write and send a message. If you do, we hold your email address and whatever you wrote, in our mailbox, and we use it to reply to you. That is the entire purpose.

What we do with an email you send us

We read it and we reply. That is it.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, in the sense California law gives those terms. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked a question. We do not pass your details to a data broker or a lead aggregator.

If you go on to become a customer, you will be dealing with Continuum as well, because Continuum is the separate company that engineers, permits and installs the systems we sell. At that point you will be given their own paperwork and privacy terms, and you can decide what you want to share. Nothing on this website starts that process.

If you have emailed us and you want us to delete what we hold, ask, and we will. You can also ask us what we have. Write to info@switchpowerco.com.

If you are in California

California residents have rights over personal information a business holds about them, including the right to know what is held, to have it deleted or corrected, and to opt out of its sale or sharing.

Because this website collects nothing, there is usually nothing for those rights to apply to. The exception is an email you have chosen to send us. For that, the request address above reaches a person and we will act on it. We will not treat you differently for asking.

This page describes how this website works. It is not legal advice, and it does not describe the separate terms that apply to a solar contract, a credit application or an installation agreement. Those come with their own disclosures.
